Description
We collect plastics, paper, metal and glass in variety of formats, resulting in less work for our suppliers and more options for our buyers. The formats we collect material in are:
- Baled – We collect plastic, paper and metal in baled formats. Where possible, we encourage mill-size baling for paper and cardboard, however, this is not essential.
- Loose – Paper and metals can be collected in a loose format and are collected using a walking floor. We also offer the capability to remove shredded and crushed plastic, whilst in their loose format.
- Briquetted – EPS recycled wasted can only be collected in the EPS format, this can work out better in terms of revenue and payload. We will occasionally purchase baled EPC and we do accept steel and aluminium in briquetted form.
- Stacked – For ease of transportation, items including pallets, baskets, buckets and trays are collected in a stacked format, which is then secured on a wooden or plastic pallet.
- Boxed & Bagged – We also collect new recyclables in boxes and on pallets as well as regularly collecting bagged plastic and regrind.
